I am a Product Designer specialising in the fintech space since 2017. My background is rooted in deconstructing legacy systems and rebuilding them as modern, lightweight experiences, ensuring that every interaction is purposeful while respecting familiar patterns.
My approach is about striking a balance between visual style, straightforward usability, and technical feasibility. While respect for convention is central to this approach, I believe unusual problems pave the way to unique solutions. I specialise in building scalable design systems that bridge the gap from initial idea to final product. By leveraging emerging workflows - including AI-assisted prototyping - I aim to remove the guesswork for developers and build high-quality applications with greater speed and precision.

Senior UX Designer / MarketAxess
As part of a newly formed UX team, I collaborated with a specialist team of developers and product specialists to deconstruct years of legacy feature-bloat. Our mission was to develop a new, React-based execution platform from the ground up. I developed a cohesive visual language and a centralised component library, a single source of truth for a vast MarketAxess platform ecosystem. This robust design system was critical for when the trading landscape shifted, as it helped the UX team service emerging business needs with speed and efficiency. As the team grew, I had the pleasure of mentoring other team members, helping them hone their design skills and develop their process.
2019-2021
Product Designer / Appraisd
I worked as the sole product designer at Appraisd, working closely with the founder to refresh the user interface for their performance management platform. I introduced a coherent and consistent component based design system, sketched mockups, wireframes, prototyped new features, developed these ideas from concept through to completion. I was also tasked with refreshing Appraisd's identity to more accurately reflect their value proposition. This involved work on digital and large scale print materials and an updated landing page.
2017-2018
Designer / Fathom London
At Fathom I crafted beautiful interface solutions for clients across the finance, professional services and energy industries. Working closely with other UX designers and developers with in the agency, I had the opportunity to tackle unique design problems that large amounts of complex data can pose. Solutions to these problems were addressed with interactive lo-fidelity prototypes, high-fidelity mockups containing clear and understandable data visualisations and dense grids with a solid information architecture foundation.
